Biography
Samantha Kummerer joined the 7NEWS team as an investigative reporter in October 2023.
She comes to Boston after spending five years as an investigative reporter in Raleigh, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC. She also worked with Reuters in Brussels, Belgium interviewing European leaders while covering NATO and the EU. Sam was born and raised in Chicago and received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Missouri.
When she’s not reporting you can find Sam on the go. From catching a plane to playing volleyball to exploring a new neighborhood, she’s constantly looking for new experiences. She can’t wait to see what adventures Boston holds and is excited to tell impactful stories that make a difference.
